Mindy is of counsel to the firm, assisting in aspects of insurance disputes and civil litigation. She specializes in obtaining funding of the defense of construction defect lawsuits by additional insurers and other issues of risk transfer. She has additional experience in employment and business disputes and inadequate security premises liability.
At Emory University School of Law, Mindy served as editor of the Bankruptcy Developments Journal. After graduating from Emory she clerked for United States Magistrate Judge John E. Dougherty. Notably she won a case before the Supreme Court of Tennessee, McClung v. Delta Square Ltd. Partnership S.W. 20 891 (Tenn. 1996) which overturned 20 years of premises liability law.
